Should what I say here matter to you?

It has been a year since I last posted and in the space of 365+ days, a lot has happened.

Many questions pondered my mind.

"I am 19 so my opinion will not matter anyways,"

"No one reads blog posts anymore, everyone is on instagram/tiktok,"

"People have short attention spans"

And I wonder, is this all true, and should be true?

I mean I have read plenty of articles myself, even though no one else has, I am sure there are a few souls that would love to read my work.

And then this point came to my mind as I was writing this.

I watched a youtuber named "Andrew Kirby", it was the video where he was walking around someplace in Thailand.

He talked about the idea of "entertaining yourself".

He linked this to his podcast, where he made podcasts for "Himself".

And most importantly, he had NO EXPECTATIONS, which is the same mistake I have had myself.

So I have decided, yes My blog will keep producing High value content.

I will write for myself, but those who genuinely want to read my blog, feel free to do so.

And if anyone wants to mentor me on the art of blog writing, I would love to learn.

I remember back in 2014, where I made social media posts, animations, websites and was glued to my screen on Canva and video editors, for the sake of it.

In other words, I was only focused on the process, not the end result. And I wish to while brushing myself by reading experts advices and learn from the best, make articles to satisfy myself.

In the next series of blog articles, I will write many articles on many topics. I have still to this day not limited myself to one topic, even though that breaks all the rules of 2020s blog writing of only writing for a niche and not as a whole.

But this is how I want to express myself, not in the form of some tiktok video, not instagram posts, just plain old writing :).
